Spokefest 

I think Spokefest is Sept 13. I hope they get a big turnout again. Last year they had about 1,300. Not bad for the first time.  Baddlands will be there.

Yeah, that was something to see that many riders last year! They are starting on Spokane Falls Blvb this year I think and "staging" the riders a bit on their ride speed. Two food/cookie stops in 21ish miles, live music, etc. what more could you ask for? :-)

Hmmm... OK, what "speed" do we to ride this? Last year we just did a slow cruise to be able to mix and BS with people. Don't know that I want to mix it up with people who THINK they are fast but are actually dangerous.

Looks like we are staging in the front area but will be riding slow to be able to mingle with the average type rider and answer any questions they may have about joining us.

Thanks to all that came out to Spokefest. Let's see what we can do for next year to get even more to ride... I would love to see this get as big as Bloomsday...That would make some couch potato car hogs wake up!

I understand that next year the route will have as an option, the Corsa Brutale course... YIPPIE!!!

That will make it worth the money. I missed the sign-up and had to pay the late fee... won't do that mistake next year.
